Han Yao & Hui Ling

They were initially really shy and clueless about the shoot but I convinced them to leave it to me. Turns out, it wasn't hard to make them smile or laugh naturally at all! Being patient and receptive to my suggestions, they were both fun and relaxing to shoot for.

I was glad to see that they had brought along several props to spice up the shoot. Personalising your shoot is what I recommend to every couple and it's what makes the shoot special to them. I really love the shots we got at Botanic Garden and I wish them all the best in their marriage ahead!

John & Odelia

This photoshoot was planned even before John proposed to Odelia at St Regis, and she had no clue it was coming. I'm glad to cover their proposal and also mark the start of their next milestone in life together!

The balloons fit their personality very well in this shoot. I love their youthfulness and John has all sorts of ideas along the way, making this shoot at Hort Park a fun experience for us all.

It was the first couple shoot right after a workshop so if you noticed a slight twist to my style, I was trying out new ideas and re-inventing! Hope you like them!

Ken & Wen Eng

I have the privilege of knowing these two as friends beforehand and I'm delighted when they asked me to be their photographer for pre-wedding and actual day!

This is a styled shoot that I've collaborated with Volkswagen Singapore, who has been my regular client for the past 2 years, and Liz Florals, a very talented friend of mine. Volkswagen very kindly loaned me this beautiful Golf Cabriolet convertible for the shoot while Liz worked her magic, all in an effort to make this shoot a meaningful one for the couple.

Be sure to visit Volkswagen's wedding car rental page and check out Liz's awesome floral pieces here!

John & Joyce

John & Joyce are one of the few couples whom I'll describe as heartwarming. Adorable in the way they behave around each other and so full of smiles every time I had them look at each other in the eye.

It's fitting that we picked a beautiful sunrise-filled morning for our shoot, as it fits their characters perfectly. It was the first time I shoot at Coney Island too and I love the greenery and quietness there. I very much enjoy the little moments of chuckles and laughter throughout the shoot.

Raymond & Ying Wen

I've always believed that a couple and photographer's relationship does not start on the day of the shoot, but rather, from the point of initial contact. Ying Wen found me through Dayre, and through the email discussion about this shoot (what to wear, where to shoot etc.), I can sense that this couple is a very easy-going pair to work with, and I was right!

Morning brought really cooling weather and plenty of fluffy clouds. Despite the rain halfway through the shoot, we adapted and even took some shots in it. You can see that we had fun along the way while shooting outside Louis Vuitton!
