Towards the end of last year I had the pleasure of shooting for the committee of NBS Pageant 2016. Time flies! Just a few months before that I was shooting their own pageant shots.
We had our shoot on the rooftop of People's Park Complex. It was my first time at this location and I love it! Huge space to work with, many different angles to try out and best of all I have a whole group of enthusiastic people to model for me ;)
We started off with solo shots, which took about 2hrs. It's a grand exercise for me in finding 20 poses at different spots in the area! Tiring but worth it! Dealing with pure natural light for this shoot so that I can be as mobile and efficient as possible. Moving on to committee-level shots~
While I was shooting the individuals, I told them to discuss how and where they would want to pose for their committee shots. It's great to see them working out ideas and trying out poses with their own cameras.
Of course, these people never fail to get a little crazy towards the end.
It's posed, but it takes a special kind of enthusiasm to agree to this idea, hahaha! Click on the photo above to see the cinemagraph that I've made. It's really one of the best cinemagraphs I've created so far and I'm super proud of it. =P
