Had an impromptu cinemagraph shoot while resting in their club room.
We joked that CSC should just sign a contract with me to shoot all their graduating batches annually. This is the 3rd year that I've been shooting for them, and they've always been the most enthusiastic bunch!
In the process of digging up my photo archives, I get to see (and reflect) on my progress throughout the past 3 years too. I hope I've improved? Been putting in more effort in the way I shoot and edit now, but the results are for you to judge.
Here's a look back at the past year photos:

As for this year's photos, I've yet to edit them. There're two more cinemagraphs coming up as well, so I'll upload them together at a later date!
For now, here's a sneak peek!
Somehow my Sigma 10-20mm gives this very unique flare. It's like a rainbow explosion, figured it's something different from the typical flares you see.
Maybe just a little overkill. Heh.
The problem with flying promo flights is that you might hit into long transit timings. Well, 7hrs is neither a short nor long transit time, but it did give me the chance to explore the city of Sydney for a few hours.
Armed with my tripod, I ventured along the harbour looking for a better angle than the usual "tourist" angle of point-and-shoot. Chanced upon these fancy looking railings and plopped my tripod down.
I'm still getting the hang of working with the water waves when creating these cinemagraphs. Somehow it's hard to spot a pattern, probably the result of being close to the harbour and ships making the waves rather erratic.
